Moon's PoV

I woke up in the JadeWinglet dormitory where Peril,Kinkajou and I slept. The new MudWing dragonet was arriving today. It was 5:45AM. I always woke up earliest. I quietly crept across the room, nearly tripped over my own tail it was so dark, and finally made my way outside the dorm.

When I was out, I breathed a sigh of relief.

I walked down the hallways, occasionally picking up nightmares, or dreams from the other dragons.

I made my way to the library. Nice, Calm, Peaceful. I smiled at the thought of asking StarFlight on the research work he was doing. 

When I entered, almost immediately StarFlight's ears pricked up. "Moon?"he asked softly. "Yeah. Which other crazy dragon comes to the library at 5:00AM?" I replied. He smiled. 

"Any scroll you're looking for in particular?" He asked. "Hmm, where are there any new arrivals from the Old NightWing Cities?" I asked hopefully.

"Yes, we just received two yesterday. Also, the MudWing dragonet, Moss, is arriving today by lunch! Do welcome her. Some of your Winglet can be.. hostile." 

"I will,"I said as he handed me the scrolls,"Thanks StarFlight." I took the scrolls gratefully and settled down in my usual reading spot in the corner.

                               ~ AT LUNCH ~

"Hello! How was your day?" Qibli asked me as we saved a table ,and a rock for peril. "Good. Mostly excited to meet the new MudWing. StarFlight said her name is 'Moss'." I replied, as Turtle, Peril and Kinkajou joined us shortly followed by Winter, who was checking on Mink, Queen Snowfall's younger sister.

"Moss?! Trust me, you won't like her. She's always trying to one-up everyone and believes she's great at everything." Sepia snorted, giving away the fact that she had been eavesdropping.

"I'm sure she's fine!"I said, and then flew off with Peril to go catch some prey.

When we came back though, I saw a MudWing. Sitting in my spot between Qibli and Kinkajou. Behind her back, Kinkajou made a talon across the neck gesture. VERY SUBTLE. 

Still I was determined to at least try to be her friend. I took off my skyfire. If I listened to her thoughts maybe I'd get to know her better, and we can maybe be friends!

"Hi! You must be Moss!I'm MoonWatcher!" I said, enthusiastically. 

Hmm. Heard she can see the future and read minds. Nah, she's no threat to MY awesomeness. Blah. If you're in my head GET OUT!

Moss kicked me out of her head. Now she was staring at me, with such hatred, you'd be convinced I'd done something terrible. "SHE'S in our winglet?" she said, scornfully,"YOU guys defeated Darkstalker. And YOU two saved Pantala?" I didn't need to read her thoughts to know she was judging us when her gaze landed on Qibli and I.

"Yeah? So?" Peril said not even looking up from her burnt lamb and tearing it to shreds, while we just stared at her.

"Nothing." Moss hissed. I knew it was risky, but I re-entered her thoughts again. 

Ha. These 'legends' will be long forgotten after I take over the school with my awesomeness. Especially that NightWing. Don't like her. Nor the SandWing. Surprisingly smart. The others may take a while to fool.

I left her thoughts as soon as I could. And then I opened my mouth and said a couple words I'd never actually say aloud."Qibli and I can give you a tour." Qibli glared at me. " We .. will??"

"Yeah, but first Moss, StarFlight will give you a library card an pouch--"

"Yeah,yeah, I know the way." She stormed off.

"So?!" Kinkajou exploded before she was even out of earshot. "Did you read her mind?!"

"Kinkajou, you need to stop assuming I keep reading everyone's minds!"

"Your SkyFires on the table!" They said in unism. 

"Ohkay Ohkay, maybe I did."

"And?!"

"Not good. But not completely bad and not evil so.. average?"

"MOON!"

ANNOUNCEMENT: "MoonWatcher, please come to the principles office right                 now." Sunny's voice rang through the megaphone.

All of us exchanged wide eyed looks, and then I made my way to Tsunami's office.

 I saw Moss standing next to a fuming Tsunami and a sad Sunny. 

"What happened?" I asked them. "Moss, here says you 'abused' her." Sunny said.

"Uhm I didn't? I don't recall touching her at all today."

"Well you entered my mind without my permission!!" Moss screamed.

"Uh, Moss, I can't control that."

"Moss, is this true?"Tsunami asked. 

"YESS. GET HER EXPELLED."

"No can do Moss. It's okay that you don't have special abilities--" Sunny continued.

"ARGHH STUPID SCHOOL!" She said a clawed at Tsunami's wing, but Tsunami swiped her talons out of the way.

"You know, I suggest she goes for classes on how to cope with her classmates abilities. She clearly isn't ready.." Sunny said disspointedly.

Moss threw a fit. She tore a banner of. Knocked a plant. And then she charged at ME, aiming for my neck. I side stepped, but she made a nasty gash on my wing. 

Tsunami pinned her down. She got expelled. She made a face at me and was led away.

I went back and told the JadeWinglet. They were mad, and Peril wanted to burn her to a crisp, but I explained she'd been expelled, and now Peril hopefully won't spend the year hunting her down.

Authors Note: Wof fans, this was a fanfic cos like I wanted to get mad at someone (moss) and I also wanted to type and fanfic and I also wanted to post a comment at exactly 12:00AM so cya then!
