Percy's PoV

I looked at myself in the mirror. My eyes were half-closed and my toothbrush stuck out of my mouth. I checked the phones the Hephaestus cabin had made, at my last summer in camp. I'd been 17. I'm 18 now, and the idea is that when you pass high school you're old enough to fend for yourself and monsters won't come after you as we're not easy prey anymore.

DING came a notification.

WiseGirl😊: Percy! Important news!!

WiseGirl😊: Good morning, and you know how we go to NewRome university? 

SeaweedBrain☺: 🤨 Ya? So..??

WiseGirl😊: So it's not starting in a month, but Pipes invited us, Hazel and Frank to CHB! They said after we're all gonna go somewhere or something..

I was excited. Firstly, we were going back to camp. Secondly, He was gonna meet Annabeth. Last he saw her, was last weekend when they'd gone out to buy the years school books for Rome University.

"Seaweed Brain!!" I heard the bell and a muffled voice from outside. "WiseGirl!" he opened the door and hugged her. The neighbours were giving them weird looks. "Annabeth!", My mom, Sally, exclaimed when she saw her ," Percy, be a dear, and take Annabeth's luggage in." I did as l was told.

I took Annabeths hand and lead her to his room. "Let me guess. You haven't packed?" She said, smirking.

"Hey! You said you'd help!"I replied, falling back on my bed. "Okay, let's get started. Message Frank or Hazel as well.

After a lovely lunch from Mrs.Jackson, and another hour packing Percy's bags and watching a movie for a bit, they were finally ready to go. 

"Percy, I'm afraid I'm going to have to check your license.", I said to him in a mock serious tone," Ahem, now please." "Sure, Mrs.Chase, let me just--make a run for it!"He ran around the car. I chased him. We got weird looks from the neighbours. The usual. 

When we FINALLY got in the car, I messaged Hazel. 

WiseGirl😊: Hey Hazel! Percy and I just hit the road. We'll all reach CHB tomorrow at 8:00AM.You, Frank and Reyna ready yet? Bags packed?

Hazie😇: Hi!

               yep, i am ready frank is too and reyna is almost done. 

WiseGirl😊:  Okay, great! So see you tomorrow at 8:00AM at CampJupiter? 

Hazie😇: yes!! k, bye! :D

WiseGirl😊: Bye! 

I decided to message Piper as well, because Percy and I packed both Winter and Summer clothes, as we had no idea where Piper was gonna take all of us, or when, for that matter.

"I'm just kidding. We're going to... FRANCE!"
